Between 1600-1700 I observed lots of traffic, but it was just impossible to capture all of them. When I had 2-3 planes cruising above at the same time, I had to choose only one which I had to concentrate to photograph. 2008/02/03 16:01 A320 LUfthansa DLH3186 EDDF-UUEE 16:17 B747-400 B-HOT Cathay Pacific CPA260 LFPG-VHHH Contrails were forming right out of engines 16:25 A319 Aeroflot AFL114 EDDB-UUEE Special colors Germanwings plane, but it was too far away to get more detail 16:26 A319 D-AKNO Germanwings GWI8991 UUWW-EDDB 16:32 B757-200 P4-MAS Air Astana KZR919 UACC-EDDV 16:36 A340-600 Lufthansa DLH740 EDDF-RJBB 16:45 A319 VP-BWG Aeroflot AFL107 UUEE-EDDF 16:47 A310 Mongolian Airlines MGL136 EDDT-UUEE 16:50 B777-200 Air France AFR184 LFPG-VHHH 16:59 B777-200 PH-BQA KLM KLM803 EHAM-RPLL Lights visible: contrailsUK - 2008-02-04, 19:59 Hi, nice photos, wow 2-3 planes at once!!? Asdrius - 2008-02-07, 21:36 Today in Vilnius a high level NATO meeting started. Lots of interesting government aircraft came in the morning, airport was packed to full capacity. I took some pictures: The highlight US Air Force E-4B : Uk Air Force Bae-146 parked nearby Polish Tu-154: Also a lot of other govermental Gulfstreams, Challengers, Falcons, An-26s, German A310 and others from all NATO member countries. Most of these planes will depart tomorrow (Friday) I hope some of polish members might see some of them cruising above Poland tomorrow grztus - 2008-02-07, 21:42 Aha, so this is the reason, that my ACARS have been showing today two NATO AWACS: LX-N90447 (NATO 14) and LX-N90448 (NATO 21). Thank you Asdrius for information. Asdrius - 2008-02-10, 22:25 Hi, All NATO planes departed on Friday afternoon. Many interesting planes including USAF E-4B and GAF A310, flew over Poland. But I found no pics, it seems there were too many clouds over Poland that day Some new pics from today: 2008/02/10 Brand new Boeing, built in 2008. Pawel_S - 2008-02-11, 00:13 Asdrius - Great Emirates ! Regards FL350 - 2008-02-11, 09:45 ContrailsUK, excellent pics as usual. Especially the Martinair 763 whose livery I just adore. Asdrius, your photos are better and better. Congratulations on the 777-200LR. As far as I know this is the first shot of this aircraft on our Forum. G@wron - 2008-02-11, 12:57 As far as I know this is the first shot of this aircraft on our Forum. You are wrong Asdrius - 2008-02-11, 18:45 I think I am not the first, I think I saw some Air India 777-200LR photographed in this forum. But it's difficult to recognise LR model. It looks very similar to simple B777-200ER, which Air India also use. ContrailsUK how you manage to get such clear shots of planes flying directly above? For me, using my scope it's very difficult to catch planes flying 80-90 degress above me. And you are using even more powerful telescope G@wron - 2008-02-11, 19:19 I think I am not the first, I think I saw some Air India 777-200LR photographed in this forum. Asdrius, you've got UM870 with this same planes, which I have on my UM860... ! contrailsUK - 2008-02-11, 21:59 ContrailsUK how you manage to get such clear shots of planes flying directly above? For me, using my scope it's very difficult to catch planes flying 80-90 degress above me. And you are using even more powerful telescope mainly practise, but also because of the amount of photos I take as the plane flies over Also I think because the dobson has steady movement. FL350 - 2008-02-11, 22:41 You are wrong OK, sorry. I stand corrected. 772LR is a great machine. Hope to see it more often. Unfortunately pic is backlit, one went right overhead but I couldnt locate it as the finderscope wasnt ligned up properly Cant wait to see one with the sun shining on it FCA52 Asdrius - 2008-02-28, 07:21 Well, even for a backlit picture, that's amazingly clear view. Maybe you'll start now photographing planes on other airways which are backlit for you. Of course now I'm curious to see how the pictures with better lighting will look like. contrailsUK - 2008-02-28, 16:39 I managed to photograph one with the sun on it, but then I realised the scope was out of collimation, so the pic is quite blurry. The plane alomst filled the whole frame of the photo Here it is: Szczupak - 2008-02-28, 19:50 Hi. contraliasUK nice photo WOW You are the best Bye. |
